Default quick questions about dpfi -> mpfi conversion

I've been doing research for a while now, I read that if I use OBD1 injectors i do not need the resistor box, What about using an OBD1 Intake Manifold? Can it be done? I have 2 OBD1 IM and 1 OBD2 IM if that's any easier... I assume I will have to get an auto pre-obd ecu for mpfi... I'm not afraid of doing the rewiring of my harness... Will obd0 injector connectors connect to OBD1 injectors?

I have a 91 4door dx auto

I'm using a D16Z6 (OBD1) manifold. In order to use an OBD 1 manifold you have to use the OBD1 fuel rail, as the OBD0 one doesn't line up right. After my horrific MPFI experience I recommend just sending your harness in to Rywire.com honestly. You're only left to solder a few wires, making things a lot cleaner and easier. I believe you are correct on the injector as well, but I"m not 100% sure, so let someone else verify that.

obd0 injectors = resistor box. obd1= no box. im's depend on the famaly of motor. only D will fit D motors B to B etc.. so if u got a d15b2 and got a D IM all green lights for u. u can stay obd0 or go obd1. obd0 mpfi auto is PS9 ecu from 90-91 civic 4dr EX. staying obd0 is the easyest. no on the injector plugs. obd0 is the all too famure milk-white-faded-to-yellow plugs. obd1 is gray plugs. they have diffrent keys in them and one cant be pluged into the other.

EDIT why the expletive am i allways beaten

yes or you could use obd0 injectors and wire in a resistor box if you have the obd0 injector plugs already i would say just get the obd1 injector plugs with a good length of wire on them

OBD1 injectors can be used with the OBD0 ecu correct? this is probably the way I will go because around where I live, it's hard to find resistor boxes or maybe i'm lookin in the wrong junk yards... I had a d16y8 head laying around I was thinking I should put that head on and just run it without vtec, it's a much better flowing head plus I don't think I would mess it up if I don't run vtec right?
