engine swaping help
I have a 95 hb dx and I want to know how to put in a H22A or if not that, a B16a SiR-II. Im a complete noob at this and I just need your guys help since this will be my first time swaping. Any suggestions or advice will be much appreciated. Another thing I have not yet bought the engine so I can take advice on another engine if needed. I just want pretty much a dohc and to achive 250hp thank you.

You are asking a question that can't be answered in a dozen posts, I would suggest looking in the thread at the top of the Civic forum labeled "What swaps are available for my civic?" it will answer a lot of questions you have and will help you single out a few setups that you might consider. Just jumping on this forum and asking a very broad question "how do I put an h22 in a civic?" is like walking into a school and asking "how do I do math?" with no prior knowlege of the subject, it is not that easy it is a subject that is going to have a learning curve.

that's an excellent way to put it. to the original poster: do a bunch of research man. then do more. and make sure you have h-t and a helms available when doing your first swap. you *CAN* do it if you're prepared for it, and having a few friends working for beer never hurts either
