my girlfriends car overheated a few weeks ago. my dad pulled the t-stat and it was locked closed. well we went to 4 different stores and they all gave us a wrong thermostat. anyway. we ran it for an hour on our trailer and it ran fine after pulling the t-stat. two days ago it began to run hot again. only happens in traffic (when not moving). seems to be a fan issue. not sure. any help is appreciated.

 

check the fan relay
