Default weather stripping

the weatherstripping around my windows is faded and like the windshield washers, the black has faded to silver. Even the lining between the top part of the rear quarter over the door and the roof is faded. On top of that, I let someone else wax my car and they happen to get on the stripping. The wax has dried there in white and red, as I use red wax to cover up little dings in the paint. My question is: how can i clean this up or do I have to replace it? The car is 1994 civic cx hatch in red and im sure the stripping is original.

you can kind of see the stripping on the roof faded in this picture:

when the car is all cleaned up, it looks like this:

it just really burns me that when you get close the faded stripping attracts your attention, and honestly, it looks like ****.

Kinda OT, but mines the same way but on 00 hatch. All of it is almost flakeing off by the door and that silver crap is showing and the rest turned light gray color.
On the teg its like all rubber. Is there anything like that for Civics?
