Strange Knock/Vibration in dry corners and Rainy Straits??????
Here's one for all you out there! First of all this is my first post and I did search for old threads with not much luck before posting. In my 93 civic 4dr EX you can feel a fast knocking or vibration when going into hard turn at low speeds or high speeds. I first thought CV joint, but it is clearly coming through the floor and you can feel it mainly in the back. (Rear Suspension?) *****Also! It does it when going perfectly strait sometimes but only if the roads are wet, like during a heavy rain. A little rain won't do it. There has to be a lot of water on the roads. STRANGE Huh?***** Its not a clunking or slow knocking sound its more of a vibration but it sounds LOUD like a knock, and bumps have no affect on the car. Oh yeah, the car has 193k miles and it appears that everything is original on the whole car. I have already jacked it up and shook everything (rear suspension) with no findings. Sorry for the book I wrote! Help if you can. Thanks.
