Im interested in buying a oem hard top, but the down fall is its been damaged before. the window had been shattered and the window frame was bent. im not exactly sure where the window frame is cause i havent actually seen a oem hardtop up close. the owner said the frame was bent back. im not sure where the frame is and was wondering would this effect the hardtop in any way?

im just wondering. im not convinced yet on buying a damage hardtop unless its in good shape. just want some suggestions, thats all. thanks

I wouldn't buy a damaged one. The fitment needs to be exact. Be patient and buy a nice used one. I picked up a used one last fall for $1500... and it was the same color of my car. Used ones can be had for $1300-$1900 pretty easily. Of course the install kit runs some dough if your car isn't already equipped with most of it.
