Tick tick from car
After I drive my car around and get home, when I turn it fof and get out I hear this tick tick sound.
I've heard that during hard driving the cat expands and the tick is the cat shrinking again.
Or, someone told me it could be the bolts on my exhaust? I didn't notice the ticking until after my exahsut was installed.
Does anyone have any ideas and what can I do to fix this? TIA

Remove the exhaust.
It's the sound of everything cooling off.
sup man.. like i told you in IM's.. i think its the sound of your oil going back into the drain pan and also the different parts of your motor contracting due to differences in temp (hot = expand, cold/cooler = contract)..
