i am going to rebuild my transmission soon (when i get some money) its from a crx si and i was wondering if it was possible and if so has anyone put an HF fifth gear in one? i was curious about doing it because i take long trips some times and i hate how tached up it is on the highway

why rebuild. those transmissions can be had for nothing

 

out of curiosity, where would you aquire such a transmission? (say for a Si)

whats the tranny code for the transmissions that came out of the EF SI. You were talking like they are all over the place I am needing one in good condition as well. And havnt seen one for sale in a long time

 

i sold my tranny for 100 if i remember correctly. you just aren't looking hard enough

well either way if i buy one or rebuild mine i am still going to have to rip it apart to put the hf fifth gear in it and if i rebuild mine i can know that it has all good parts and will last me along time and even put some hotrod parts in there if i feel like it
