Default B16a2 header

Hey can anyone tell me what the diff is on a 4-2-1 and a 4-1 header is??? im buying one soon and need to know what will do what for me.

4-2-1=Mid range
4-1= high end

Less clearance with 4-1

rippin which header would you prefer for a 1/4 mile car?? 4-1 or 4-2-1?? thanks

All depends on your set up. For me, the 4-1 is the way to go.

I've said this in the past (and in another recent thread), but it's worth repeating. People too often concern themselves with a header's configuration, rather than concentrating on selecting a quality, high-performance unit. An excellent 4-1 header will perform much better across the RPM range than a poorly designed and constructed 4-2-1, and vice versa. Set a budget, then shop for the best header than fits within that.
