Hey guys I have a 91 crx si with the annoying door mounted belts and im trying to get the 88 door on my car. The only issue im haveing is the friggen BEEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEP >< I read that there is a way to short the connection to the buckel. any help ?

As far as I know its just a switch. If its normally open, close it (jumper wire) if its normally closed, open it (cut the wire) but I didn't think the doors would even interchange.

 

so what now... what do you meen by open and closed?

 

open means 12v is on one side of the switch and when you latch your seat belt it passes on through to the other side of the switch and on to your buzzer or whatever. i think all you'll have to do is tie the two wires together simulating the belt being latched all the time. I've never done it though.

not cunfusing. there's two wires going to the part thats mounted to the floor. cut one see if the beep stops. if it doesn't stop cut the other wire and tie the two together. if neither one work, put em back the way they were and do some more research.
