Alright guys, I am looking to get some CTR pistons. My question is regarding the rings. Can I use rings from for any B series motor with the same bore (most all are the same bore right?)? Or do I need to get B16b rings. My concern is that Honda, where I get basically cost on parts, will not carry B16b piston rings. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

All B-series VTEC rings are the same. Like you said though, just make sure you get OS rings.

 

All B pistons are 81mm standard bore.

Over bore is 81.25mm

CRV B20 is 84mm standard bore, 84.25 overbore.

Just use the B16a rings
