should we boost the A6 or put my Y8 head and skunk2 intake manifold on it then boost it? i have all the parts for the head swap...

anyone know why it has the black bumper? i once had a Y49 crx and it came with that bumper, but i havent seen any others with it until now. It was definately an eyesore

 

1700.00....whats a y-49? i don't get it lol...someone else said that its a y-49 so we need to get rid of it fast

replacement bumper.

if you throw on the y8 head your compression will be too high to boost. the c/r will be around 10:1 so make sure you grab some turbo pistons if our gunna boost on it.

id just sell the y8 head, put on the s2 manifold and boost the a6.

 

of what if i did the head swap and made it all motor? like itb's and all that?

 

y-49 is the color code.

we just got it this morning...we don't want to sell it just yet lol...i want to have fun with it...i've never messed with a crx before

y49 crx's are cursed supposedly the crx that has the most problems.

 

well i guess we'll see what happens...the idiot we got it from put those fog lights, relocated the battery to the trunk, put knock off tien springs and a SSAC cat back on it...we're going to change the whole suspension, put a mugen twin loop exhaust and paint it champ. white to match my civic

 

i like teh fog lights...relocating the battery to the trunk is a good thing! specially on a crx since our bay lacks space and it frees up so much more space. and by looking at the pics those fogs arnt the JDM ones but it looks like the APC one which arnt bad cause i own a pair too

yea i like the fact that the battery is already in the trunk...i want to do that to the white coupe...i just need more time...lol

 

I hope it's a sealed battery.
If not, change it fast!!

 

Rice that rex out man. Maybe a huge wing and 5" exhaust tip. . If i were you, I would boost the a6 though. That's the same setup I want to do eventually. a6 boosted crx

y-49 is the color code for that yellow...i would leave it that color... how many hondas do you see that are bright yellow and that is the original color?
