Tire question !
Yes, assuming it will be going on the appropriate rim. the 225 is about as wide as you want to go unless you want in to invest in a week of trial fitting rims/offsets etc.
It's not so much the front that's the issue (although a dropped suspension can aggravate clearance problems
), but the rear - with that %^$# vertical arm on the rear knuckle that limits rim / tire widths.

It will fit, but it's not the correct height for that gen. Rather, it would be a bit taller, filling the wheel gap more than the stock height, but at the expense of being harder to rotate, throwing your speedo off a few mph, and the various things mentioned by P, like rubbing with the control arms.
I`m getting these few days ago.

Therefor I asked about the fitting. Normally I have 215/40 on it.
Fitment of the rear wheels was the reason for this topic. I was not sure if it fits....

You've got reason to worry about the rears.
I've got 215/55x15's on stock '97 SE 15x6" alloys on the car and have but 1/2' clearance between the tire sidewall and the knuckles vertical link.
You might try some keyboard time with

They've a plus size fitment program available, and it should give you some ideas b4 you plink down your hard earned Deutsche Marks.
I'd approach this with some caution.

Sorry, as an "uneducated"
Anglo-American; I lament the loss of some European Countries loss of Individuality via the homogenization thru common currency.
To my dying day I'll think along Pound Sterling, Franc and Deutsche Mark.
Sorry for the cultural Faux Pas.
