Wrecked Car?
Should I buy it for 500 bones? Its a 2000 ex with 65k on it. It's my ex girlfriends car. I am going to fix it up and make it my daily driver. I have an em1 for all the fun. I am going to do all the work. What you see is pretty much the extent of the damage. Aside from needing driver side fender and door, and some other dents along the side

I think right there wher you see the pole hit it is but i was going to cut and weld that section in. It's just going to basically be my beater. Or I was just going to get it for the engine, tranny and ecu and drop it into an ef hatch. So I can have a reliable driver.
Looks like it could be fixed, but like he said if the frame is bent the car is basically good for parts and thats it. The price is right if the frame is good
Ha, just saw that you are from Columbus I will be there this weekend.

If the impact was head on, then it would be easy to pull the frame out and weld on a new core support. Damage in that area may have bent the shock towers in some and possibly the firewall. Hard to say unless you remove the body panels but restoring it is going to be expensive, espeically if you have to find a new passenger side door now. Unless you actually have time and space to store that piece somewhere, and can actually make more than $500 parting it out, and then get rid of the shell when you're done, then it might be worth picking up but otherwise it's not.
