Where do you guys mount your AVC-R solenoid??

Default Where do you guys mount your AVC-R solenoid??

I just wondering where´s the best place to mount the apexi AVC-R solenoid. Ok a s close as possible to the WG but where´s the best place? Please tell me where you mounted yours and if possible post a pic please. Thanx

I mounted mine (2000 civic coupe) approx. where the stock airbox was located. It's just to the left (standing in front) of the a/c line that runs through that area. HTH.

look in the bottom right hand corner near the headlight. i put it there on my hatch and my coupe. this is the hatch.

here is from my coupe on pump gas.......drove it like this every day for about 2 years. i dont suggest anybody does this though haha.

it's not a avc-r....it's a greddy e-01 solenoid.....i think they look the same thou

i added a heat sheild...but it came out clean.....full-race...made the bracket for me

yeah thats what I´m looking for thanx guys. Some more people with AVC-R controllers. Would be nice to see some pics with power steering and a solenoid located in the pump area cause its the shortest way to the wastegate I think..

ok short OT question. I´ve got already two 1/8 NPT to D06 fittings. I tried to screw one of theese fitttings into my AVCR solenoid but it won´t fit. I compared the thread with the one from the original fitting which comes with the AVCR and it´s the same. It also has the same outer diameter so any idea where´s the problem???
