If you want to limp it along for a bit get a magnetic drain pan bolt and run GM syncromesh wont fix it but it works for awile.

Is it EVERY gear?

I Blew 2 Syncros on my old tranny so my 4th and 5th grinded no matter what i did.

Its definatly cheaper to go find someone selling a used tranny in good condition, than it is to buy one from the dealership.

You can get a GS-R one from a dealer for like $1500 tho. Its all up to you on how much u wanna spend.

grab a new transmission or just change the guts inside... might as well just swap a whole new unit... you can find used ones all over the place... online stores, shops, ebay
