Water leakage problem on 90 Integra
OK so i have been working on Integras for a long time now... i know a lot.. but you never know everything.. thats where honda-tech comes into play... Now please read this carefully if your going to at all... This leakage problem needs to be fixed soon...
so first off I will tell a short story about this car... I have a $2200 screen in it that has not costed me almost 3grand.. Not happy
.. The reason for that is the fact that my car leaks horribly.. Within 3 hours of a rugged rain storm i have about 2-3 inchs of water on my passenger side floor (front to back).... then leading to the navi brain sitting in 2-3 inchs water... now i am not 100% positive about where the water is coming from.. but i have a few clues..
1. the wiper blade cowl was removed and may not be installed properly.. (doubt its the problem (but see #2)
2. I was driving in the rain one day without a carpet in the car and i noticed leakage coming from the passenger kick panel (right near the ECU) and then working its way to the back seat area.. But it looked like it was coming straight from the firewall.. i don't know
3. I was also driving in the rain in a heavy storm and i noticed water leaking in threw the automatic seat belt area.. being almost next to the o-**** handle but more in the door jam in between the rubber things... and then when it gets worse it drips down the plastic piller and down to the floor by the heater blower... which could just be the explanation for #2.....
i have down something as little as washing my car and i get water in my car..... right now i won't even let the car leave the garage until i have this problem fixed... thanks for taking the time to read my post.. any info would be a huge help....
and if you have time you can check out my web and my ebay store....

Do your windows seal properly? Alot of DA's windows don't sit flush any more, there is a good fix at http://www.g2ic.com/tegtips/exterior/10.html other wise check the grommets at your fire wall and around the heatercore hoses. Also check the seals around the door and inside the fender behind the splash guard. Good luck

From: Good luck to this industry, you're gonna need it.
g2ic.com has a TON of teg-tips that will help you fix little problems like that. I have already done the cowl seals and what not. I ALSO have the rain coming in from what looks like the passenger window seal as well as the sunroof drain off...sucks. Too cold to deal with it right now.
good luck getting all that little stuff done...it never ends lol.
