Depends on what is damaged.

Any and all repairs are possible if money is not an issue....

From the pics it looks like you could just replace the JDM front end including the radiator support but its hard to tell.

If its totalled are they gonna take my car? Can i take out all my mods before they take it? I have never been in an accident and not sure how the process goes. I use statefarm.

your insurance company may total her out, but i personally doubt it. seems like you have radiator core support damage and possibly front frame rails. not that big of a deal IMO.

oh cracker jack.. that was you that I saw?!?! wow...
what city was this around again?
sorry to hear, and yeah... damages like that have been done.
M1 Autobody would do the work but they will lag it because they have a grip of cars to work on and they'll be a dick about it too. I know one in the Lincoln Heights (323) area (my friend knows the owner)
so he can probably get you a good quote on fixing the car. I can't give you any heads up but I can say that he has 2 ITRs and one is being rebuilt. They do AWESOME work.

Don't feel bad, I've had several of close incidents in bad LA traffic... luckily I'm always in the far left lane so if close calls are in, I just try my best and move to the left (between carpool lane and far left lane)

There was a guy rebuilding a 01 PY ITR around here and it had similar front end damage like yours. (except USDM front)

If the frame rails are straight, I'd say fix it, otherwise I'd buy it back from the insurance company and either part it out, or put another car together.

Maybe get an estimate from a bodyshop before claiming it. YOu would have an idea what it would cost, what parts you need and maybe you could do the majority of the work yourself. Just an idea.

From your pics it looks like a perfect time to get the USDM front-end..its mAd tYte YO!

But seriously take a look all the doors to make sure they line up ok.

If you want your aftermarket parts you better take them off now, and if you have them, the insurance company will probably want the stock parts back on it.

Thats how if worked with my friend, they made him swap back on stock parts for any after market parts he took off.

I would get a estimate first and check the car thoroughly, doors, rear end, everything for alignment and frame damage.

Good luck man!

Roof tells me that its an ITR or LS...
Also it seems like there's frame damage since there's a flex on the front upper tower bar unless that just got pushed by other stuff like the hood and such...

Good luck with the car man

Call your State Farm agent and tell him you need to file an accident report and ask him what to do. (I don't know if you will need estimates from two different body shops, or if one will suffice, if they do a lot of work with State Farm.) Then take it to the body shop of your choice, and let them work out the details with SF. (All body shops are accustomed to working with insurance companies.) Let the body shop do the estimate to determine whether or not it's totalled. If it is, you can arrange the removal of the mods with them (the body shop).

In my experience, State Farm is very good when it comes to claims...

There is no doubt in my mind that the ins company will total it out. It has too much damage for them to pay out. Buy it back and part it out.

you can repair anything. its just how deep your pockets are.
Your insurance could very well total it, but that doesnt mean you cant buy it back and fix it

With State Farm they have approved body shops that you have to pick. Not sure if you can pick your own? When I wrecked my car last summer, they had a list of approved bodyshops. I used the shop at my sister dealership and it turned out ok.
