gsr with 122k just put turbo in how do i keep the engine safe
I got a GSr just threw in a turbo. I got 122k on the engine and im pulling on 6 psi gerret t3/t4 and some 750 injectors also got the hondata for the fueling. Shop said my engine is still fairly good and I use syntenic mobile 1 oil. What should i do to prevent my engine from blowing trying to run it for like another 75k oh yea i aslo put like 2500-3000 miles a month
If you want to be safe, perform a leak down test and compression test BEFORE you install the turbo system. Those two tests will give you the current state of your engine.
Also...take your time during the installation process. Trust me on this. It will be well worth it.
