Default My beater EF is taking a ****?!?....kinda

91 EF hatchback Dx
Automatic trans
180k

Problem. Wont shift in the mornings until the car warms up slightly. And the first time it shifts it will grind. I have to be going around 50 for it to go into 3rd and it grings but only the first time.

I changed the trans fluid and it helped but still messed up

and suggestions??
