i was going to pass him, he is my buddy from class, and when i went to pass him i ran oversumthing or sumthing but my wheel jurked so i jurked back, my back end fished to the right.. i corrected.. fished to left i corrected then it went back to the right but then i was sliding sideways down the interstate.. then i went into the side of the truck.. he spun while i pushed the side of him.. he went into the gaurdrail.. his back end bounced up onto the rail.. i got underhim again and we ended up like the pics.. thers one pic of the gaurdrail with the cars int he distance but u can see where the truck first hit the rail.

the worst part was she was gona be painted this weekend too... most of the damage is bolt onparts, the the A Piller is crushed but i think ill beable to push that back out here at school with the right tools (im at WyoTech). so thats def a +. the truck is TOTALED like beyond totaled. no one was hurt

SO if anyone has a fender.. bumper... driverside window or a side marker leme know i need them. thanks guys

no i wasnt racin. my right tie rod has some play in it nothing huge like shuldt be drivin it but there was some play, and i think that had some factor in the accident and we have alot of road kill down here so thats why i said i mighta hit somthin like the kidna roadkill that is mushed into the road but the skull is still there.... yea. kinda nasty but thats what i wana say what hapend.

 

From the pics it looks like that wasn't the car's first accident...Maybe you should stop racing on the freeway.

 

hey give him a break i don't think your tie rod had anything to do with it unless it snaped off from the hub haha what really happened man.

 

no acutaly Pooby88 last weeknd i cut out some rust and welded in a new patch, and theres no molding cuz thats how it got it.

Well, I can't fix your car, but how about I fix your puntuation and spelling:

Besides I wasn't talking about the gray **** on the rear quarters or a piece of molding. I was talking about the fact that the whole front end is a different color than the rest of the car.

 

it sounds like you didn't keep good handle on it when it was fish tailing around, over correction maybe?

sorry to hear about it, glad to hear no one was hurt in the accident. However, next time watch what is also on the ground to make sure its clear, i hit a dead dog with a bagged truck.....sucked big time.

Ok Bud. the front end is black cuz i had anouther crx i parted out and i kept those pannels cuz when i got this car they were all dinged up.

kevb18crx - yea i think i overcorrected a lil too much both times... and not to mention my front tires are 185/65/14 and my rear are 165/60/13s so lil bit of a diff there.. i mean i took full liability for it, i mean theres no ?. i wanst gona dick with it and try to fight it.. but yea we were really fortunate we all walked away. it coulda been alot worse

how long you been at wyotech dude?? i was seriously going to go there, but its 4 1/2 hours away from my house, so i said fuuck it. so i settled for LTI. but do you ever see a red GST up there with tinted windows, 5zigen wheels, front mount, and "Kaotic Imports" stickers on the corner windows?? cause thats my buddy jordans car... its pretty bad ***...

yea bro i have a rebuilt b18 in there how did you guess? i did a stock rebuild on her last year at my other college i went to for Auto Tech. shes got like 4k on her now which im happy with cuz it was my first full rebuild so i didnt really know how long she would last. now it just sucks selling my turbo stuff that i had been collecting in the past year so she could be turboed... but now i g2 sell it all to get a new windshield and bodyparts.

yea man i def. thing the crx held her own in that wreck. the truck it done. its totaled. the crx would be totaled if i didnt know what i do now about how to pull dents and straighten frames and stuff.
im in the WyoTech in PA, its cool. the thing is its not like normal colleges.. as in theres no dorms or meal plans or anything. you have to get an apt. but ther are apt.s that are sudjested though wyotech which have to meet certan standards, like upkeep, safty, limited # of residents per house, and the rent price wont change. like i pay 425 a month for the house im in now. its a 4 bedroom washer dryer 2 bay gararge, and all utiilitys included. now i live here bymyself rightnow and my rent doesnt change depending on how many are living in the house. which is cool. but the classes at wyo are fun and very intresting. im learning alot.

 

Its a good thing it was a truck thats pretty high off the ground..If that was a normal size car the accident would have been bad..

What years the Rex? Mine was stolen thanksgiven while waiting for thie window install just before it was stolen. I have a NIB drivers side window for sale. make me an offer if you need it cause i'll take whatever offer is on he plate if you need it. seriously though the Rex will be ok. just break out the bondo and duct tape

yea bondo is gona be a factor but the portapower is like a huge hydrolic press that can press the frame backinto shape so hopefully it will work in my prdicument.
