This guy has this car on ebay as a "Type-R" and its 4 lug. I email to see if it was a missprint or fraud he sent me a pic of the block with the vin. Which means nothing motor swaps are a dime a dozen. Anyway I am not looking to buy this car I just don't want to see someone get taken. The vin is JH4DC23121S001602

You sure its a 4 lug pattern? Looks like 5 to me. Maybe a 96 Accord SE rims?

NC-B17A - Where did you obtain the VIN from? The VIN checks out.

 

Is it just me, or does that valve cover look like someone painted it red?

 

There have been a group of us following this thing for over a week.

Look closely at ALL the discrepencies...

And, can or does someone have the ability to see the multiple histories and registrations?

I mean the car is supposedly a 01 and has such a low advertised mileage And it has soo much history? What do you think that could mean? Not good in my books After you detect all of the warning signs.

That is pretty much a b16 head if anyone noticed. That itr was prolly a stolen recovery and someone put all gsr suspension on it, and a b16 motor, but maybee an itr tranny cuz it says lsd.

 

Did you guys notice the valve cover- It's JDM.

 

hungsteR the guy selling the car sent me an email with a pic of the block. I asked hom to send me a pic of the vin in the dash. I just wanted to see if the motor was stolen because I see alot of posts on here dealing with stolen R's.
This is a Type-R. It has some recent modifications that I've done to it.

You want to buy it and find out, fine; your loss. We warned you.

onyx00 as I said in my first post if you had read it.I never was loking to buy this car. I just tring to keep anybody from getting ripped off.

 

Type R 98-0352,hungsteR those are 4 lug wheels

 

The exhaust looks fucked up
the rear tires look flat
The whole suspension looks like a GS-R swap
but i guess its still a real r, prob just salvaged, and fixed with gs-r parts
not worth it

 

Its an ITR with GSR suspension and wheels, along with a second gen B16A intake manifold and GSR/SI strut bar. Its also a ITR trans along with an ITR bottom end. I cannot tell if its a ITR head from the pick, but this car has been messed with to much for me to purchase. The valve cover has also been painted over, and is not a US ITR valve cover.

But hey, the ITR stickers are all probably still there, so it must be a good buy. Plus i really like Alteeza taillights.
