T U R B O s2K?????
any good turbo kits out for the s2000 i've seen a couple but because of the high compression of the s2000 they couldn't run much boost off of it and gain that much hp's.....any after market pistons and rods for the s2000 to lower the compression too???????????
Speedcraft puts around 335 to the wheels but cost 6grand + parts for a total near 9 grand.
Now my new project has came along, the M coupe, hopfully i can get things together and either turbo it or supercharge it and get up in the 500-600Hp range... But we'll see......
I think JE can custom pistons for any applacation if i am correct. The thing is when you upgrade to that kinda power to wanna change to a better clutch and differencial and ****. Otherwise that'll be your wink link and sooner or later it'll break... But if your plans on turboing a S2k i'd say bank about 12k to do it right, thats building the bottom end and replacing the clutch ect....

12's huh.......thas not bad, but i'm also looking at NSX, and M3's......the turbo kits for them are expensive as hell, like 9 gz........and they both make those cars hit 12's...........but the wrx has a $4800 power package that makes it hit the same times, 12's for cheaper price on the turbo and the car, i dunno.... i'm coming back in a few years leaving for germany at august and don't know what car to get when i come back, so far it's s2000, like a 97-99 nsx, brand new m3, or the 2002 wrx brand new.......they all have there pluses and downfalls, just don't know though, i'm pretty partial on the m3 and nsx's just because what they are, but still undecided............
hey blazing fast s2k, how did that 100 shot direct port and supercharger go with eachother, i heard it was kinda dangerous to mix those 2 especially 100 shot direct port man.......i bet that hauled, but i would be afraid of detonation..........
Don't waste your time with nitrous, all its gonna do is **** your engine up. Comptech makes a supercharger that puts out like 350 HP, and it helps with the low end problem Honda seems to have.
why do you guys always want to lower the compression ratio? i dont understand this. here's the deal high compression turbo is the ****. all you have to have is a stand alone and someone that knows what they are doing tuning it. st00pid is the one that tunes all the fast cars in houston. just for ***** and grins we built an 11.5 to one motor (yes it was built) and ran 24 pounds of boost on it. on 119 of course. running ten pounds of boost on a stock s2000 motor should not be hard with the high compression. as long as you have a stand alone. put in a little race gas and turn the boost up. we run 20 pounds all day in my ls turbo on pump gas. no problems. im talking all day. i drive this car an average of 100 miles a day. and i dont baby it. so its all in the tuning guys. its all in the tuning.

I think i read somewhere it puts 334Hp to the ground with low boost (8.5psi) on stock internals. Witch means thats 8.5psi on 11:? Compression ratio... the thing is you drop some JE 9:1 compression pistons, some strong rods get the hole rotating assembly blueprinted and balanced and get the head ported and polished along with the intake manifold and most of all you upgrade your fuel system and all and get either a Hondata or Haltech stand alone and you boost away... I've heard rumors of possibly getting around 400-500Whp with 15psi... But i woulden't know i haven't delt with there setup. I myself had the comptech supercharger with a Nx express direct port 100 shot so i was making roughlt around 350-375Whp... take or give alittle...

not everyone has access to race gas 24 hours a day...

But to get to the chase on this topic the supercharger did improve the bottom end to much, it made way for one hell of a super Vtec...
so it was pretty safe huh.......especially running a 100 shot direct port????? so what about the nsx's comptech supercharger u think tha'll go good with a hundred shot direct port too with it's stock internals?
Topspeed Performance in Naples, FL just did a custom turbo set-up for a customer out of Miami. I don't know all the specifics, but it's a T3/T4, forget what trim..
Spearco intercooler, HKS BOV, custom turbo manifold made in-house, etc.
Real trick. The thing ******' hauls ***. Any more info, call up there and ask for Josh or Chris. (239)514-7008
