I have a 94 lude, my previous h23 had a blown head..so i replace the whole engine...same h23 but auto to manual..cuz mine was manual....anyways, it seems to be burning a litto of oil or alot. When the engine was being replaced, i did the oil ring....replace new water pump and all the seals inside the cams and all...but still smells like its still burning oil from somewhere. The 2nd engine, my cousin took her lude and smashed head-on into a huge boulder at school. There was no visible damage to teh engine...just making some hard noises and has a rough time idling at cold start. can someone tell me how to fix this problem... thanks..

sounds like valves maybe? My h23 is burning a lot of oil and leaking some. I'm swapping the head w/ another h23 head and when it's apart we'll see what the problem was.
