Default lighting issue

i'm kinda puzzled. When my car is warmed up and i pass 4500~4800 rpms

my headlights and dash lights get quite a bit brighter and my head unit stops playing. it stays on but no sound comes out until i drop back under that amount of rpms. My speakers are wired to an amp so i am guessing it gets too much or too little voltage and music stops playing. Could this be a voltage issue that makes my lights go brighter? If so is it a bad ground?

thx for the replies!

this may b really obvious but i gotta say it. check ur grounds first b4 u do or buy anything. i know that when u get on the gas the voltage goes up but that shouldn't b doing all that crap that ur cars doing.

Basically, every wire that is touching metal on the chassis of the vehicle is a Ground.
