Default 98' civic-new radio and keyless entry

For those of you that have put new radios in your 98' civics..how did you keep the keyless entry? I was reading that you can keep the old stereo plugged in behind the dash for the keyless entry and your new one in the stereo slot. Will this work? Is there enough room for it back there?

check out http://www.installdr.com for how to keep both installed. Otherwise you need to jump a wire for the dome light and keyless wont work.</TD></TR></TABLE>

There is no reason to make 2 threads dude.
