check this out... does this part go bad?

i believe it's the PVC chamber that i circled in the picture. does it ever need to be changed?

Yeah, its for PCV. I have never heard of one going bad but I am sure it could happen. Why do you suspect that it might be bad?

I've seen the o-ring leaking behind it mostly.

It can get clogged -however it would mean that the car is really probably junky.
