Default car gauges going crazy

my temp, fuel, brights, blinkers and my on dash clock will get really dim/flicker when i get at high rmps or letting my clutch slow me down or shifting. anyone know whats going on and what do i need to fix it?


and when ever my subs hit my headlights get dim.

Your headlights dim with the subs cause the amp is drawing ALOt of power from the battery, since eveything electrical runs off the battery headlights, will dim. Get a good capacitor, and that will fix the stereo problem

As for the gauges messing up....if you have done recent work in the dash id would be a good idea to go check all the connections in the rear of the cluster...but thats pretty weird. so check any wires you might have moved or touched just to check. Good luck

everything has been done in the shop when it went into the shop, should i take it in and tell them?

sounds like you might need a new alternator.

Yes you should, because if it worked fine b4 hand, its somthing they did, accidently.
