what engine sit this? i got a deal on it from a frien at a wrecking yard for 800 bucks complete engine w/ distributor and trannie w/o ecu and harness.

I think you mean f23a4 out of an accord..And its not an easy swap..

 

I believe that's a single cam right? Well either way, you're looking to be basically doing an H22 swap. Believe you would use the same mounts and everything. Bisimoto had/has an all motor single cam f series, and he makes adapter plates to use a D-series tranny w/ an H/F series motor. Some of my information may be wrong, don't know much about F series motors.

 

typo,, sorry.....i know nothing about an f23 but this ones a single cam. no that i found out what it was,,, is it worth the swap.....what engine can i compare the power to....how much is the market value(usdm)......should i buy it and trade someone else for an engine or buy it and sell it for more. maybe i can find someone with an accord that nees that engine. the engine looks bran new and was taken out of a car with rear end damage. thank you in advance
