Default HELP ME !! WITH OEM /CD PLAYER (kihun_cha)

Well the 98 radios have a Alarm (Keyless entry) installed in it, if you notice in the back of the radio there should be about 2 plugs that go in one is White and one is green. the white is where the radio gets it power ad the green one is where the Keyless entry gets its power. Maybe thats why it doesnt work. and another thing is that Ebay guy might of screwed you over and sold you a defective radio.

Check your fuse underneath the dash. You could of shortened something out and blew the fuse.

Did you verify that you're getting constant 12v and switched 12v in the radio harness? If not, check your radio fuse under the hood.

If fuses are good, then there's a good possibility you got a bad unit...

Also... How did you hook the radio up, considering the '92 and '98 have different plugs... Did you get 2 harnesses and plug them together?
