hey the car is running... slower then hell with the CX exhuast manifold... and the good old missfiring whenever reved past idle...

but today i noticed i got a new code to accompany the already exisiting codes; code 10; code 20.....

the new code is CODE 14 ? ? ?what is it?? i looked in my manual and i searched this site but no luck... any help with code 14? or what can be making my car missfire at any RPM above idle?

 

Code 14 is EACV.

 

ya i had the same thing but just a code 10... check your wiring to yourintake air tem sensor the plugs are the same so check your wire color..as for your (EACV)try to reset your ecu ...pull hazard fuse for good 10 sec and plug it back in..it sounds like you have some wireing problems go thought everthing a gain and check ...is this a si swap or a dx swap?here is one more thing to check for the misfire make sure you have the right firing order. your distidbuter turns clock wise...i had it backwards and had a hell of a time trying to get it to run on two cly`s.. and if it`s a dx swap check your ecu plug a wiring i screwed that up too. looked at the plug the wrong way so i cut the wrong wires for my injecters and was dumping gas in their like bad.. well hope this helps..good luck
