a guy on another forum is selling me MT 24.5/8/15 inch slicks on 2 15 inch rota slipstreams for $400..I just re-tuned my ls/vtec turbo setup on saturday and made 449hp 330tq on 24psi..I was wondering if these slicks would be good enough for my setup? seems like a good price to me, they have 5 passes on them so they should have a good amount of life left on em'..

 

Perfect size to start with on your setup. That size is doable for now. the only reason to step up to a different size is because there is less sidewall on a 15" slick vs a 13" slick. You get more bite on a 13" slick of the same height.
So plan on converting to a 13" rim/slick setup with the same 24.5" slick for better traction.

 

yeah i figured these would be fine for my setup rite now since im still getting used to driving it..I just thought it was a pretty good deal for 400 bucks so I picked them up this morning..thanks for the info!
