HOw To-99-00 civic radio/AMBER LIT?

how can i take apart my 2000 civic cd player to paint the bulbs amber. i looked at it.but it doesnt make sense and i dont wanna screw it up.lem kno

You could just find a stock Civic Si CD player from a junkyard or ebay, they light up amber. There is one on ebay, current bid is only $25 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

i'll try and take some pics of what holds it together later if you want. its fairly easy but it takes awhile to figure out how to go about it.

i used a flat head screw driver on the clips that are holding the metal casing to the plastic face. its pretty straightforward, you just have to figure out which ones are the clips..
