Yep, I do not currently own an S2000 but I can post pics of my 1:18 scale paper JDM MY04 S2000.

What a sports car, this is true Honda racing heritage!

MAD JDM y0! RHD!

For the first time i drove it, I had the top down around san francisco beach and redlining every gear. Form that day I had to get one. This car by far is the funnest I've own.

Same here! AP2 though. I wanted to sell my IS asap. But then i thought about it and personally, it would be a good 2nd car for me but i still need the back doors and space.

i really want an Ap2 better
looks much extravegant and excited and luxurious
but the Ap1 is cheaper and its still an S2k
save more money
less monthly payments
money for aftermarket parts!

First time i ever drove an S2000 was also the first day i had ever driven a 2003 Mustang Cobra...and while i was VERY impressed with the handling and feel of the car (solid as a rock)...i was let down by the acceleration, but then realized that the car was engineered for so much more than just a 1/4 sprint...it made me appreciate what the S2000 CAN do...over what it doesnt do so well. I furthered that experience when we bought one for my wife back in 2004...brand new off a truck, zero miles on it from the dealership, got to remove the plastic from it ourselves as we unwrapped that new formula red roadster...as we filled out paper work they brought it back and got it all cleaned up, put everything on for us and showed us how all of it worked (even the secret compartment)...i have to say, while i have seen exotics all the time at dealerships and stuff, all waxed up and shining for the showroom...i truely was in awe of the beauty of that red little car in the evening georgia sun...

Bought it on Friday...car had 750 miles on it by monday. I miss it truely, as it was a fantastic weekend car.

I bought mine a few weeks after I first test drove one.

I just got back from a 15 mile "Lunch Rally" through the country side. No better way to put a smile on my face back at work!

Hypnosis I don't know if you haven't noticed or anything, and no I am not trying to be a grammar *****, but you always misspell the word "truly".

Just thought I might add that.

no haha its just you stated that same "not winning a grammar award" thing in multiple threads and when you seemed to be spelling correctly you still misspelled truly.

It just looks weird doesn't it?

truEly. Kinda irky. o_0

Sounds like you and me are the same person.. I still have magazines showing the SSM concept (S2000 concept, back in Jan '98).. then ones announcing the release of the S2000

I plan on owning a Suzuka Blue '02 ('02 was the first year of the color), or a Berlina Black on Red 00-03...(I don't like the AP2)

Test drove a Berlina '01 at a dealer in the summer and absolutely fell in love with it. What a TOY! After getting it up to temperature, I got to have some great fun with it - having 9000rpm to play with is a whole lot of fun.

I have a 1:18 AutoArt berlina black model on top of my monitor, too (and a silverstone metallic 1:24 scale downstairs)..

even though i havent gotten a chance to drive one, i sat in one. Very comfortable, and looked like it would be fun to drive. But, i wasnt really looking to buy, and didnt want the salesman to waste his time on me.

I've been owning a 97 hatchback for 4 years now this pass january and I feel I've reach my goal on it converting it to a CTR look alike..My next car I want it to be a S2k..The pass 2 years I've been thinking about it and I want an s2k..I've never driven one before and Have been waiting for that day. I went to the dealer about 8 months ago just to test drive one and get the feel of it but I guess the guy felt I was there for a fun ride only so he said no..Iam waiting so badly to finally drive one..after all these stories I've read here I cant wait..i got into a motorcycle accident 5 months ago and im still recovering but I will be getting a crap load of money from that...first use of my money when I get it will be entering a Honda dealer and offering the guy the lowest price I can offer him w/o scruing him over and giving it CASH to the guy and finally after 2-3 years of wait finally getting my S2k..its been a dream for me and I cant wait. I've been through building my hatch to look in my opinion AWSOME to something I just want to chill and leave stock..maybe a lil lip kit or something but thats about it..and just cruise in it with no worries if somethings going to break down..I honestly cant wait.
