Clutch, throwout bearing, or tranny problem?
I replaced my motor, installed a new clutch/TO Bearing/PP/FW. I swear I put it all in exactly as it came out.
Today (as I'm finishing all the little details), I decided to check if the motor turns when I spin the wheels with the car in gear. They don't. I can see the flywheel through the starter hole and it's not turning either.
So I'm afraid I messed up the throwout bearing replacement.
Could it be anything else? Axles are definitely in the tranny, and they both turn (opposite directions) when I manually turn them. Clutch feels like it's working (and I've adjusted the cable, tried both looser + tighter). I feel it engage, and the normal slack at the top of the pedal. Tranny feels like it pops into gear. All linkage hooked up.
I haven't re-filled the tranny yet.. could that be it?
Thanks in advance.

unless you have LSD transmission, you can't turn the engine over by spinning the wheels unless you can spin both of them in the same direction at the same time - this is due to the differential action in the transmission - start it up and put it in gear and you should have at least one wheel turning
