Default OBD1 Tranny in a 5th gen

Will an OBD1 H22 tranny fit a 5th gen? 5th gens are OBD2's so i'm not sure if it'll matter.. alright thanks guys!

i've heard of people doing it. the usdm 4th gen is supposed to have the shortest gearing of all H and F motors. you may have some trouble with the VSS or motor mount, but it will bolt up and you can use the same axles from the 5th gen.
