Default Hytech exhaust with SMS header

Does anyone know if I can mate both of these items together? If I can, will I need to make a custom cat or can I use one of theirs. I heard the O2 bung for the hytech header/cat combo is a little far back.
TIA

if u really want to mix and match, why don't u take smsp header/cat/bpipe and match it with the hytech muffler only.

I guess I could. The reason I don't want to use the Hytech header is the clearence issue and the fact that you have to extend the wires for the o2 sensor.

Noone to my knowledge but noone has told me you do. Even if you do have to extend them, at least you don't have to notch the crossbrace for clearence.

you will have to with the smsp header.

smsp header(standard itr) is similar in length, if not longer than hytech.

Yes, you'll need to extend both O2 sensor wires but nothing needs to be done to the brace.

Well its been about 13k miles with the longer O2 wires and modified brace. Its really not that big of a deal. Haven't had a problem with the O2 sensors yet.

vago ~ who knocks on wood.
