Default Can't Decide on Wheels for 06 Si

Should I get Gramlights 57S or a set of Wedsport SA70's either way I will be using BF Goodridge G Force T/A KDW Tires. I am going to stick with 17" wheels as they look great. Just my main concern is the weight issue 57s weigh 17.6 lbs and SA70's weigh 20.8 lbs( that almost as much as stock wheels) I want something lighter

You may want to look into the 57C's. I think they are little bit lighter and I think they look better than the 57S's. Enkei RPF1's are nice and reasonable too.

yeah The wedsports are heavy but they are lighter than the stock wheels and they look good. I looked at Work Emotion Kai but they run 1200 without tires

Light, cheap, strong. Choose 2. Personally, I would stay far away from light and cheap...

Exactly. I would run stock for awhile and save, then get some NICE wheels. Are you looking to spend $1500 WITH rubber?

Forget the cast FN01R-C get the forged FN01R's. 16's were $380 per wheel, and 11.6 lbs

17" WED SA90s are 20lbs each... thats about 1lb lighter than stock lol

on the other hand. . .

you can get WedsSport TC005 17" that weigh 14.6lbs each

add tires and your lookin like $1,600.00 (before shipping) and those are Kumho 711's (so while not the best tires its $100 over your budget for decent tires and a good lookin light weight 17" rim

wow, 14lbs for a 17" rim, who knew. PLEASE tell the bitches in the ITR forum that tires have weight too, they refuse to use anything other than a 15.

just for you patna

the only reason i posted a picture is just to show you that 20lbs and 14.6lbs are not the same weight. . .

14.6x4 = 58.4
20x4 = 80

thats a 21.6lb difference

in regards to this, i agree with you, however, 17" is not practical for a DC2... my pesonal preference is going ony as big as a 16" rim on a DC2.... but yeah

I know what you saying but you even read what I said. I said the 9 spoke wheels from wedsport ( sa-70) weigh in at 16.5 for 17x7.5" and 17 for 17x8 I was just stating that they weigh about the same as the wheels you showed me
