new rsx in '07
sure i'm not the first to hear the rsx wil get a new look for 07, wierdly enough iget my info from the new 2006 consumer reports car buying guidebook. In the review of the 06 rsx it makes the consumer aware of a redesign for the car in the 07 model year. I was excited to read this since I was going to buy either an 06 rsx-s or an 06civic si----now the choice is clear----
The only thing not know is what the new rsx will look like-

i think they will redesign the rsx in the 07. Think about all the honda and integra out there, they either change the look of the car or redesign it every 4 years. like integra 94-97 is the same, 98-01 is the same. prelude 92-96 is the same. 97-01 is the same. etc.

That doesn't go along with the usual frequent ground-up redesigns that Honda does.</TD></TR></TABLE>
rsx goes right with the scheme
96-00 civics for example, the 96-98[maybe 97] civics has red and yellow tail lights and a different bumper than the 99-00. this is the 'facelift'
the 94-01 integra is also the same. the 94-97 tegs had a diff front bumper and lame tailights compared tio the 98-01
the 7th gen civic, is also the same, the 01-03 have different headlights than the 04-05 and that corresponds to a different front bumper as well.
the rsx follows these patterns as the 02-04 have diff lights/bumpers as the 05-06

I believe 2007 will be an awesome year for the RSX. Why? Well, just like the new Si marking 20 years of the Si in America, 2007 will be Acura's 20th anniversary. And what we're the first cars that Acura had? Integra and the Legend. So, I think Honda has just held back a little on the current model, because they're going to blow our doors off with the new one.
I've heard RWD from somewhere... but that's just a rumor.

Not that it makes a big difference or anything, but 2006 is Acura's 20th anniversary. I'm curious to see what happens with the RSX next year as well.

not another one of these threads!!
its pretty evident that the rsx is done. no 2007 model,.......it makes no sense for honda to have two almost identical cars. the si and the rsx. why do u think the si got the rsx motor and lsd???? 2007 bring the TSX in a two door model and honda will not make an awd sport compact,.....its not hondas style. high reving front wheel drive is their forte'
The type r will never ever come here. period. i shouldnt waste time explaining. if you are a honda lover u know the reasons.
