you would be better off taking the bumper off since only a few bolts and clips hold it in and then u don't need to work about messing it up
hmmm. that's true. i'm also gonna ad a mugen lip to the front bumper. =P
but i wonder how i am going about taking off the bumper. [boggles my mind] haha

you do actually need to take the front bumper off to replace the headlights. Its really not hard at all though. Let me see if I can remember.
In each wheel well there is 1 philips screw that you need to remove. Then under the bumper there are some clips that can be removed with a flat head screw driver. Its been so long since I have worked on one of those cars, but I believe thats it. Just pull the bumper away.

if it's that simple to remove the front bumper then i wont' have to worry much. hehe. thanks for the info. i'll post up pics later when i install the headlights.
if its same as mine..(04civ obviously)
one philip screw above wheel/tire take that off on both sides where it comes together with the fender
then there are 10-12 clips on the bottom sideof the bumper, jus stick a flat head in and turn 1/4 turn and they should pop out then pull from the fender side out and toward the front of the car (get both sides loose before pulling off) then possibly have a friend to help you hold it or what not....
heres basically what you'll find underneath...
...yeah, its styrofoam, pretty shitty huh

This foam is what keeps your car from doing any structural damage on collisions 5 MPH or slower. Thats why you see "5MPH Bumpers"

what brand of projectors did you get? Hopefully TYC. Out of the number of sets I had, they were the best by far for my 01. Maybe companies have fixed theirs in the time that I havent had that car.

the moment of truth. i only took 2 pics. a before and after. it wasn't hard at all. except for the clips at the bottom. they acted as if they were rusted. i just broke them off. i'll buy new ones when i install my front lipo
. well here are the 2 pics.
Before

AFter

no. they're not TYC. i mean. these dont look bad at all. but the beam of the lights are WHACK! imma put the stocks back on tomorrow. >_< that's what you get for buying **** off ebay. hahaha. sorry for that blinding light. the flash did it. >_< .
well. the problem with these headlights. it's pointing too high. me and my cousin tried to emprovise by trying to make the projector point down some more. but it won't do. still high and there's like 6-8 beams pointing in different directions. so i wasted a good $150. on these headlights haha. anyways. thanks for all the help though guys. btw. WHERE CAN I GET THOSE TYCS?

when i put halo projector on my 04 civic, the beams were way up in the air. i kept blinding anybody that was driving the other way. even got pulled over for it. to fix it, you have to take your bumper back off, take the headlight out, and adjust the little screw hole in it. it adjusts both brights and regular headlights. it is much better to drive it at night now. it was kind of a pain in the ***, but well worth it. try that before you throw them away.
also, when you adjust them, find a measuring point that you are at now, and just adjust them accordingly. when you recheck them, just put one screw in to hold them until you get them where you want em. then, when you thing you have it all good to go, bolt them back in but leave your bumper off and drive around the block or something and adjust accordingly
