YA GUYS MY HATCH STARTED A FIRE IN THE PASSENEGER CORNER OF THE BUMPER . WHAT THE HELL THE HEY WAS NOT IN THE IGNITION CAR WAS OF, SO IT SEEMS TO BE THE HORN THAT CAUGHT ON FIRE IS THAT POSSSIBLE .

Quit writing in all CAPS!!!!!! Sounds like you might have had a short. Also you really didn't give to much information such as was the car just driven ETC.

 

It sounds like a short that caught fire. Bad wiring. Remove all the light wiring/horn/fan wiring and double check it for lose or open wires. Rats like EF bumpers and honda wiring...

 

car wus driven for 1 hour no prolbmes whatsoever i stop at the gass station to see a buddy come back 10 mins the hole bumper is smoking and a samll fire started in the corner inside were the horn was all this happened within 1o min max we saved it today i fixx lolllll i still luv my efs

has anyone had the same problem ???? enyways its time to redoo ALL the wiring

 

Fires aren't normal and are usually a result of poor wiring or mechanics.

Most people wouldn't have a problem. The only fire I've ever done was a small engine fire my first swap.
