The current engine of my '84 Prelude starts to look tired. Now I'm facing with the question how to replace it. Does 3rd gen 2.0 litre fit into 2nd gen? Are there any other options? Maybe even 3rd gen engine?

And I don't want to change the car, because I just love it I just need to get it running.

Get at least a 3rd gen Prelude man sorry I hate to say that to anyone but at least there is some love for that car. But you still won't get away from the jungle under the bonnet till you get a 4th gen. I really even hate to tell you that but the 2nd gen is really a junker anyway you cut it.
