Default Anyone else ever try a UNI- pod intake ?

I was rejetting the carbs on my track ho and decided to experiment a little with the Civic too . Anyway , my bike has 2 1/2" ID X 5 " UNIfilter pods on 39mm Mikuni carbs and I found that one fits nicely into the intake opening that ordinarily connects to the airbox . My assdyno feels like its a decent improvement over the K&N drop in .

I used to run UNI pod filters on the stacks of my webers. . it looked dope. . and I didn't notice much loss that without them, sounded pretty much the same too. . Most of my friends were running the ugly K&N ones.. .

This was back in the day when modified imports were 510's, celica's and corollas. . I had a CORTINA with a road race Capri 2.0 ohc in it. .

K&N's smell better though. kinda like bubble gum. (filter oil)
