Does the N1 make that annoying poping noise??? TIA

It's REALLY deep at low rpm, but when VTEC kicks in, OMG its LOUD. You can hear it like 20 blocks away at wide open throttle. I love it. But at high rpm it does sorta of sound high pitched, but its awesome in my opinion.

 

hehe, thats funny, cause my N1 is quiet as hell...

it rumbles for about 30 seconds when u first start the car...then u dont hear it at all at idle....moveing u can only hear it a little bit on WOT, and it never pops...but my integra is auto and has the silencer in it.

I have the APEXI N1 on my GSR and i love it it pops when the butterfly vtec kicks in its sounds phat as hell and when at full throttle everybody will hear it lol

If you are specifically referring to the "popping" noise. Almost all exhausts will do that including the N1. The popping design isn't a trait of a specific exhaust, rather it's just unburnt gas (95% sure) or fumes and wasn't turned into a vapor properly. Basically, almost all exhausts will "pop". My watermelon shooter does it all the time.

the only time mine pops is when i let off the gas when its cold. . . ansd thats amplified cuz i got a test pipe/ . . . . i love this exhaust though. not all ricey and tweaky like others i have had.
