I've got a 92' Si and its got the stock wing with the led brake light on it. I was wondering what I'd be left with if I took the wing off anf if there would be a gaping hole for the wire harness the run through for the brake lamp, also i need something to plug the holes with (rubber plugs and rtv?). Should I go wingless or save my self the trouble?

 

save yourself the trouble. there wil be 5 holes, if its anything like the 5th gen preludes and it probably is. 2 bolts on eithet side of the trunk, and 1 hole for the wires. you could plug them with rubber inserts, but that would look ghetto. and if you choose to seal them up with metal and bondo you will have to repaint the trunk. like i said, save yourself the trouble.

 

After I took the spoiler off my lude, it only had 4 holes, and its also a 92 Si. I like the spoilerless look.

Why are you taking the spoiler off? I think I missed that part.........

but anyway - here's what you will see.........

4 holes

the wiring is on the very left when facing the trunk. You'll see a black and a green wire - green is power, black is ground.

I really don't know what you would plug it up with though......

 

just find a trunk with no spoiler, mine doesnt have one and i like it better than my other prelude that had one
