Default headlight trouble

i just replaced my driver side headlight assembly and now the headlight doesn't work. It isn't the light because I tried to see if it worked on the passenger side and it work so it must be the thing powering the light on the driver side. How would I go about fixing this?

its not the bulb, its the thing powering the bulb because when I stick the bulb into the passenger side it works but it doesn't work on the driver side

check fuses cause I believe there is one for each side, also did you try high beams? are they projector headlight? Lastly you can do a voltmeter and check continuity as a last resort to find the break in the circuit.

Close but you need to check for power and ground rather than continuity. Also do what was suggested and check fuses. Of course you know not to touch the bulbs with your bare skin.

The highbeams work, but the headlights dont, do you think if I just change the fuse it would work again?

Well check the fuse, if it's blown find why it blew and then replace it.
Did you replace your h/l assembely with a Honda or Stanley unit or to an aftermarket setup?

Yeah, the fuse was blown and I just replaced it with a spare and it worked. The assembly is a honda assembly, the only reason I can figure why it would blow is because when I was replacing the old assembly the bulb in my old assembly went dead right after I took the assembly off so thats probably what did it, I got a new bulb and a new fuse and it works again, thanks for all the help
