Honda civic air intake

Hi my friend got me a cold air intake that said its for lx models 97 98 99 but my car is a 2000 is there any way that it will work on my car? thanks for the help guys

if i'm not mistaken the lx/dx aka y7 has the veritcal throttle body correct, therefore if your car has a vertical throttlebody than yeah it should fit ... if not i'm sure a little hacking & imagination will get it to work
