my buddy's got a 90 dx sedan. i was just wondering if anyone ever heard of them hitting the rev limiter at different rpm's, sometimes it will hit at like 6500, sometimes 72 and 75. thought it was weird anyone ever hear of that?

 

It probbly is more due to the stock tach being not that accurate.

I've heard of people having this problem before it never happened in mine redline was redline.

 

its not the stock tach though, we hooked up a 5'' autometer monster tach to it to check it and it still does it

fuel spark issue would be first thing I'd think of then.

Is the motor fully at opt temp?

 

like when its cold it'll redline at 65, but when its warm it'll go to 72 or 75
