What is the interval to change a timing belt on a 98 v6 accord
From "Severe Operation Conditions (90% of Continental US and all of Canada) every 105,000mi / 168,000km (per Honda). In places like the California, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona high desert areas, I would do in more often.
Most of us recommend 90,000 mle intervals for giving the T-Belt the heave-ho.

you need to have the car inspected to see if the 60K are hard miles or if they are normal. Signs of abuse would be suspension parts with excessive wear, dirty trans fluid, leaks of any kind, cracked CV joints, excessive tire wear, etc.
