My shifting is messed up. it is hard to shift fast when racing and it grinds a couple of gears 3rd and 5th suprisingly. It is also hard to get into gear sometimes. Someone told me that the the cables on the trans could be bad? b/c it is a H22 transmission. Someone else told me that there is a clip that connects the cables to the transmission that goes bad sometimes is that true? if not what else could it be? Hopefully the tranny is not bad.

 

If it grinds it is probably bad syncros.

 

or your clutch isnt completely disengageing which will lead to bad syncros.
